Charitable Activities

What Zavelorin funds and why

The decision to formalise charitable giving came from a straightforward observation: the same budgeting knowledge that helps a business stay solvent is almost entirely absent from standard school curricula. Most adults enter working life without having constructed a single personal budget.

Each year, roughly 14% of net revenue is allocated to external programmes. The selection criteria are narrow by design - organisations must demonstrate measurable delivery, transparent reporting, and a direct connection to financial or educational outcomes. Vague community benefit is not sufficient.

Funding cycles run on a 12-month basis with a mid-year review. Partners submit a plain-language progress report covering participant numbers, materials distributed, and any measurable change in financial behaviour or academic engagement. This keeps accountability practical rather than bureaucratic.

Financial Literacy Workshops Free in-person sessions covering master budget construction, cash flow tracking, and debt prioritisation - delivered to adults 18–35 in underserved postal codes across 6 provinces.
Youth Curriculum Grants Grants of $2,000–$8,000 per school year to secondary schools and non-profit tutoring centres developing practical money management modules for students aged 14–18.
Community Resilience Support Operational contributions to 4 regional food banks and 3 housing-stability organisations - addressing the material conditions that make financial planning impossible without first meeting basic needs.
